I can't count the number of times I've eaten here. (There are several El Rancho Grande Resturants in the Dayton area, I am speaking of the Poe Ave resturant only in this review). I've never had a bad experiance. As with any resturant where the food is cooked fresh, you will get a bit of variation in the food, but that is part of the charm. The bar is top notch for margaritas. Margaritas and beer is all I have ordered from it. Service has never been bad, even during very busy times. Often the service is exceptional. The overall quality of the food is what really keeps me coming back again and again though. The level of heat in the salsa and cheese dip can very a bit, I always enjoy it regardless, but if you don't like it spicy stick to the items without cheese sauce. The shreaded cheese is real queso cheese and not spicy at all, darn delicious stuff. You really can't go wrong with this place.

The service is outstanding. The alcohol prices are as low as just about anywhere in the Dayton area. A very affordable dinner that was served within 5 minutes of ordering!

My favorite Mexican Restaurant. Never a long wait to be seated. There are lots of coupons around too so you can always save money.

It may have been a fluke, but when a waitress comes to the table to yell at you because you mentioned that the service was a little slow seems like poor service to me. Even the manager defended her! Not a good way to make a tip since we had a large party.
